Itay Frishman is co-head of the high-tech department and concentrates his practice in the area of corporate and securities law, with an emphasis on M&A, venture capital financing, public and private offerings, complex cross-border executive compensation and tax matters.
Itay represents technology and international clients across a range of industries, including software, internet and new media, telecommunications, biotechnology, medical devices, and cleantech. He counsels these clients on mergers and acquisitions, cross-border transactions, venture capital financing, executive compensation and complex tax matters.
Itay also counsels companies and underwriters on public offerings, including IPOs, follow-on public offerings, tender offers, and PIPE transactions; SEC’s periodic reporting; disclosure issues; internal investigation; effecting resales of securities in the public trading markets under the SEC’s Rule 144; exempt transactions under Regulation D and Regulation S; Sarbanes-Oxley; and other critical corporate governance issues.

Itay joined GKH in 2004. Prior to that, Itay worked as a corporate associate at a law firm in Boston, Massachusetts.
