Community
The GKH family helps support the community in which we live and work. The nonprofit organizations we support include:

GKH attorneys provide hours of pro bono legal advice each year at the Bar Ilan University Legal Clinic for the Disabled.

GKH provides financial support to the Branco-Weiss – Anne Frank regional high school at Kibbutz Sasa, serving a student body made up of Circassian, Druze and Jewish students since 2006. In addition, members of the GKH staff teach Civics classes to the students periodically.

GKH contributes money and staff time to the Moadonit Ramat Israel afterschool program for children from multi-problem homes. GKH donates funds for special activities, throws several parties a year for the 7-11 year olds, and groups of GKH staff members help the children each week with their studies.

GKH has been working with Matan - Your Way to Give, an affiliate of the United Way since 2003. Matan advises corporations, individual donors and foundations on effective community investments and implementation and matched GKH with the Moadonit. GKH Partner Ofer Hanoch is a member of Matan’s Auditing Committee.

Tmura, the Israeli Public Service Venture Fund is a non-profit organization established by leading Israeli venture capital funds to involve the high-tech sector in supporting charitable activities with a focus on education and youth-related activities. At GKH, we provide pro-bono legal services to Tmura, support their activities, and encourage our clients to make an equity donation.

GKH provides pro-bono legal services to The Abraham Fund Initiatives, (www.abrahamfund.org) a non-profit organization working since 1989 to promote coexistence and equality among Israel’s Jewish and Arab citizens. The Abraham Fund's major initiatives involve education, policing, employment, inter-municipal cooperation and the establishment of an on-line inter-active resource center. GKH attorney, Abed Elrahim Nashef, serves on both the Israeli and International boards of the Abraham Fund Initiatives.
