GKH's Banking department advise different local banking institutions with regard to banking, capital markets, securities, regulatory matters, corporate governance, financing transactions and other matters. The department has also been active in the sale transactions of banks and banking assets and advised international banking and financial institutions regarding their conduct of business in Israel, including matters related to the regulatory regime governing such activities.
GKH currently advises all five major banks in Israel, as well as the leading international banks and financial institutions in their business in Israel. The team provides legal services to most of the domestic Israeli banks and investment banks, handling all legal aspects of their business activities, including in discussions and negotiations with the relevant regulators including the Bank of Israel, the Israel Securities Authority, the new Israeli Capital Market Authority and the Anti Trust Authority.
The department has an international focus and leading international client base including UBS, Goldman Sachs, Bank of America, Merrill Lynch, JP Morgan, Morgan Stanley, Barclays, Dexia Group and many more.

The department’s professional team consists of nearly 15 attorneys providing ongoing legal advice and opinions on a wide range of complex banking and regulatory issues, capital markets and securities, M&A, financing agreements, derivatives and ISDA agreements. Moreover, we provide legal services for international banking and financial institutions on all legal matters regarding the Israeli market and the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange.
