Gene counsels mature technology companies in complex international transactions, Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A), securities law matters, corporate governance, and financing and corporate reorganization. His clients include companies in the fields of bio-tech, pharmaceuticals, healthcare and medical technology, telecommunications, computers and internet. Gene specializes in technology transactions, including structuring international licensing and commercialization agreements for clients. Gene has also represented the interest of his clients in securities litigation in Israel and in the U.S. He was a committee member on the Israel Securities Authority Committee for Dual Listing Requirements. He is also a frequent lecturer at International conferences on International and U.S. securities law matters and cross-border transactions.

Gene’s practice includes cross-border enforcement with regulatory investigations such as PCAOB, SEC or FINRA, and acting as special investigative counsel to corporate audit committees.

Gene Kleinhendler established his office in Israel in 1984. Prior to that he was an attorney at the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission. Gene, together with Amir Halevy, directed the practice of Kleinhendler and Halevy in Technology and Venture Law and led the development and expansion of these practice fields during the 1980’s and 1990’s.
